グリーンアポフィライトは微量のバナジウムなどによって緑色に発色するアポフィライト（魚眼石）です。水晶が六角形なのに対して正方形（正方晶系）の結晶が特徴です。共生しているスティルバイトは、シルクのような独特の光沢が美しいです。

アポフィライトの中でもグリーンアポフィライトは産出量が少なく、特に希少性が高いとされています。照りや透明感も美しく、層のように重なって見える部分は特に趣深く、神秘的な魅力のある鉱物です。
